Mr. Gee brings more than 25 years of global sales and marketing expertise and will serve as a member of Cellebrite’s executive leadership team, reporting directly to CEO Yossi Carmil. He will oversee Cellebrite’s global marketing strategy and execution to help the Company capitalize on the major growth opportunities ahead in the digital investigations marketplace.

Mr. Gee joins Cellebrite as digital crimes escalate exponentially, and criminal activities become more sophisticated, requiring law enforcement and enterprises to apply more advanced tools to fully capture, manage and analyze all the digital evidence at their disposal. Cellebrite’s end–to–end Case–to–Closure (C2C) platform helps investigative teams in both public and private sectors reach time–to–evidence quicker and close cases faster, smarter and more defensibly than ever before.

“Cellebrite stands on the precipice of an unparalleled opportunity. This enriched viewpoint is critical to create and complete the case story for investigators whose success relies on in–depth analysis.

Operation Find Them All: Cellebrite Unites Philanthropic Pioneers to Accelerate Investigations of Crimes Against Children http://www.kuwaitfinancialexpress.com/?p=309523/ Fri, 12 Jan 2024 14:00:00 +0000 http://www.kuwaitfinancialexpress.com/?p=309523 TYSONS CORNER, Va. and PETAH TIKVA, Israel, Jan. 12, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —  Cellebrite DI Ltd. (Nasdaq: CLBT), a global leader in premier Digital Investigative solutions for the public and private sectors, is honored to announce a powerful collaboration aimed at reducing crimes against children and online child exploitation.

This new campaign titled Operation Find Them All (OFTA) brings the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children, The Exodus Road, Raven and Cellebrite together for the first time under a collective goal to accelerate investigations of online crimes against children and in doing so, help law enforcement find missing children, solve crimes involving exploited minors, remove harmful online images and bring perpetrators to justice.

In addition to a financial investment to all three organizations, Cellebrite is providing NCMEC and The Exodus Road with in–kind use of its preeminent technology—namely Pathfinder, an AI–based Investigative Analytics solution, and Smart Search, a cloud–based OSINT tool for investigators—to help these organizations in their efforts to dismantle child exploitation and child sex trafficking rings by accelerating the time it takes for law enforcement to investigate persons and organizations of interest, analyze evidence, gather insights, develop and advance leads and rescue innocent survivors.

“'Operation Find Them All' has the potential to aggressively accelerate the focus and efforts of all the 'good guys' in law enforcement working day and night to find missing children,” says NCMEC co–founder and longtime child advocate, John Walsh. “I'm deeply thankful Cellebrite is so committed and recognizes the pivotal role it plays in protecting children. Together, we can ensure that every child has a safe childhood, and that justice prevails.”

“The dangers of digital darkness demand our immediate attention and action,” said Yossi Carmil, Cellebrite’s CEO. “At Cellebrite, we are committed to working in unison with these heroic organizations and global law enforcement to help protect children around the world from online sexual exploitation. That’s why we’re dedicating Cellebrite’s resources and capabilities to finding these innocent children.”

Law enforcement at federal, state and local agencies are buried in a chilling amount of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) cases. In 2022 alone, the FBI reported 359,094 cases of missing children and NCMEC’s CyberTipline received over 32 million reports of suspected child sexual exploitation. Today’s law enforcement professionals are under–resourced and overwhelmed due to the scale and complexity of these investigations. Cellebrite’s end–to–end portfolio will better equip law enforcement and these strategic partners with the most advanced digital investigative capabilities, innovative tools and comprehensive training to confront this crisis head–on.

“Since 2012, The Exodus Road has helped to free nearly 2,500 survivors, arrest more than 1,200 perpetrators and train over 25,000 law enforcement officers and civilians to respond to human trafficking crime. Cellebrite’s digital investigative technology and support are paramount in accelerating our work to liberate those being exploited around the world,” said Matt Parker, Chief Strategist and Co–Founder of Exodus Road.

“We must recognize that the advances in ICAC require not just technology and dedication but also a firm foundation of legislative change and heightened awareness,” said John Pizzurro, Raven CEO. “Only then can we ensure the structures and governance are in place to fully resource law enforcement and to protect our children from the relentless threats they face in the digital age. That’s why we stand in solidarity with Cellebrite and support the crucial goal of this operation to find them all.”

Cellebrite’s 2024 Industry Trends Survey Reveals Urgent Digital Challenges in Law Enforcement http://www.kuwaitfinancialexpress.com/cellebrites-2024-industry-trends-survey-reveals-urgent-digital-challenges-in-law-enforcement/ Mon, 13 Nov 2023 13:30:00 +0000 http://www.kuwaitfinancialexpress.com/?p=309051 TYSONS CORNER, Va. and PETAH TIKVA, Israel, Nov. 13, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Cellebrite DI Ltd. (Nasdaq: CLBT), a global leader in Digital Intelligence (DI) solutions, unveils the critical insights from its 2024 Industry Trends Survey for the Public Sector. Now in its fifth year, the survey findings reveal the urgent need for agencies to digitally transform key workflows to address severe staffing shortages and a growing volume of evidence.

The survey, gathering insights from 2,000 law enforcement leaders and practitioners, underscores challenges in device access, data extraction, evidence management and analysis. A notable majority report increased overtime and insufficient training to tackle digitally driven crimes. Disturbingly, many still rely on outdated paper–based reviews or manual digital tools, resulting in a staggering 45 hours typically spent reviewing digital evidence per case. With three out of four practitioners agreeing digital evidence is pivotal in case resolution, it is critical for agencies to adopt technologies that will transform their workflows, increase productivity and create efficiencies to solve cases faster, smarter and more defensibly.

"Technology has changed the nature of crime," says Steve Foster, Special Agent in Charge at the Georgia Bureau of Investigations whose unit utilizes Cellebrite technology to solve crimes. "We need the tools and people in place to be able to work through the challenges."

"Digital evidence continues to play an important role in modern investigations. As criminal technology evolves, it is that much more critical agencies are equipped with the tools, solutions and training needed to identify and analyze all case data," said Leeor Ben–Peretz, Chief Strategy Officer, Cellebrite. "This year's survey validates our commitment to supporting agencies through their digital transformations, help them manage their growing caseloads, and reduce investigator and examiner fatigue."

Key survey revelations include:

  • Increase in evidence sources: significant YoY increase from cryptocurrency, car infotainment systems and wearables
  • Examiner reports to investigators: In 2021, it took an average of six days for investigators to receive an extraction report from examiners, which has now increased to 14 days
  • Evidence Handling: 75–80% agencies use portable drives or USB sticks for evidence, risking chain–of–custody breaches
  • Growing Backlogs: 52% see worsening case backlogs year–on–year
  • Evidence Sources Expand: Smartphones dominate, but cryptocurrency, cars and wearables are on the rise
  • Digital Evidence Power: 60% of practitioners deem digital evidence has more impact on case resolution than DNA
  • Evidence Delays: 75% of investigators note device analysis can exceed two weeks, even in high profile cases
  • Tech's Role: 65% of agency managers believe technology can alleviate staffing strains

The annual survey includes respondents from North America, Europe, Latin America, and the Asia–Pacific region. To view the full survey results, please click here.
